Bio

Avery Pambianchi was born in June of 2001, and began taking up trumpet at an early age. A recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music and William Paterson University, Pambianchi is quickly making himself known as a dedicated young musician in the greater NYC Jazz community. Among other performances, Pambianchi has performed at Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center as a member of the WPU Jazz Orchestra, and has performed twice at the Rochester International Jazz Festival in small groups, as well as acts such as NYChillHarmonic. Most recently, Avery recorded at WBGO’s studio in Newark celebrating the music of Clifford Brown and Max Roach with fellow WPU students, and was selected for the 2024 Aspen Summer JAS Academy, where he studied and worked with esteemed faculty such as Christian McBride. In student ensembles, Pambianchi’s versatility as a trumpet player has allowed him to perform with renowned artists such John Clayton and Ingrid Jensen, and further performances beyond school with artists such as Adam Neely. Currently, Pambianchi leads a Jazz quartet of his own, specializing in both original compositions and Jazz standards.
